NEWS

THE WEEK OF 7/12/21

Key items coming to pass this week are the appointment of a interim City Manager on Tuesday, July 13th. As of Tuesday, July 6th Craig Cornwell is no longer the City Manager of Compton. We are looking to see who will are the interim appointment and hear about the process they used to vet the candidates.

Also, in the July 6th council meeting, District 4 was declared vacant. The city council is working with the City Clerk's office to determine the application process for those interested.  We will keep you posted.

This appointment has to occur by August 6th or we will have to go to an election for that seat.
